Description
A scheme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during the groundworks for and extension and alterations to the Harvest House Care Home at 126 Carholme Road, Lincoln. A possible clay extraction pit of likely post-medieval date was the only archaeological feature of significance revealed. The pit had been back-filled in the 19th century, prior to industrial development on the site. {1}{2}
