A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform proposed residential development on land off Main Street, Hackthorn. A series of modern land drains running across the site was recorded, but no features of definitive archaeological origin were identified. It is likely that the magnetic variation that was recorded related to modern occupation of the site and natural inconsistencies. {1}
