Description
An evaluation, in the form of trial trenching, was undertaken to assess the depth and character of any archaeological remains and to establish the presence/absence of cellars. Five trenches were excavated. Trenches 1 and 2 measured circa 3m by 2m; Trenches 3 and 4 measured circa 3m by 3m; measurements for Trench 5 were not given.{1}
