Description
An archaeological evaluation (trial trenching) was undertaken to determine the archaeological implications of proposed development on land off Belton Street, Stamford. Two trenches were excavated; Trench 1 measuring 8.5m by 2.4m in the northwest of the site; and Trench 2, measuring 13.1m by 1.4m towards the southwest. {1} {2}
