Description
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks at The Cottage, Aisby, Corringham. The watching brief monitored the excavation of foundation trenches for a new dwelling and detached garage. The watching brief revealed a sequence of natural, subsoil and topsoil layers and a post-medieval pit was also identified {1} 2}
