Description

A programme of augering and environmental sampling was undertaken in advance of a development to provide student accomodation on land at Ruston Way, Lincoln. Two east to west transects were laid out across the site, with boreholes placed at 25m intervals. A total of 18 boreholes were sunk, and conducted using a 1m long, 30mm diameter hand-operated gouge auger. {1} {2}
