Description
A watching brief was undertaken during groundworks on land between North Street and Church Street, Gainsborough prior to residential development. An undated (although possibly medieval) pit was the only feature identified, and a single sherd of medieval pottery was recovered. Extensive evidence of recent occupation was also encountered. {1} {2}
