Description

Builders excavating part of the interior of an outbuilding east of Washingborough Hall in readiness for laying the foundations for a new fireplace. Although the entire floor was removed, the builders excavated to a greater depth in two places at the far eastern end of the building, which led to the discovery of human remains.{1}
