Full Description
A scatter of post-medieval brick, tile and iron slag fragments was identified in this location in January 2007, during a site visit conducted to assess the impact of proposed mineral extraction. It was thought likely that the material derived from the activities of the former brick and tile works, located to the immediate west (see PRN 64535), although it was also thought possible that one of the abraded fragments of tile may have been of medieval date. The identified material was discarded after examination. {1}
