Full Description

Tetney school was built in 1856 as a Wesleyan Day School. {1} The school was taken over by the Tetney Board School in 1873. It became Tetney Council School in 1903, and before 1999 it was called Tetney County Primary School. {2} The extent of the school after the turn of the 20th century is depicted on the 2nd edition 25" Ordnance Survey County Series map. {3} The school was considerably extended and converted to a house around the turn of the 21st century. {4}
