Full Description

The Grainthorpe School was opened in 1852. {1} It is a Victorian school present on the 1905 map. {2} It was built as a parochial school in 1852 and was named Grainthorpe Council School in 1912, retitled Grainthorpe County Primary School around 1947 before finally being named Grainthorpe School in 1999. {3}
