Full Description
A complex of agricultural outbuildings at Holme Farm, West Rasen, comprising a two storey cartshed with a dovecote and granary above; a two storey triple barn, formerly the north range of a crewyard complex; two L-shaped buildings forming the east, south, and west ranges of the complex comprising cattle accommodation, pigsties and stables; a semi-detached pair of two storey farm workers' cottages; and a later detached range of a cartshed, boilhouse, henhouse, and privies and coal stores for the farm workers' cottages. The complex is built in brick, with pantile roofs where those survive. The triple barn and north ends of the L-shaped buildings form the earliest phase of building, with the southern extensions added alongside the workers' cottages and the cartshed built as a single phase of expansion. The later phase of building has bullnose bricks on the door jambs and building corners. {1}{2}
