Full Description

Nearly three quarters of a mile south-west of St Ives' cross, is another cross stone, somewhat sunk in the ground. Traditionally a market cross, more probably a boundary cross or religious. (possibly the stone published on the Ordnance Survey 6 inch map at TF38111729). {1}{2} The 'stone' at TF38111729 is a restored, medieval, wayside cross; obviously that referred to by authority 2. {1} There is a full description in the revised scheduling document 22685. According to this document the cross stands at TF38101729. {3}
