PRN 30277
The church has a Saxon tower, with an exterior stair turret and other traces to Perpendicular; mainly Decorated. Restored in 1845. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
During a watching brief, dump deposits containing human bone fragments were recorded. These deposits were thought to represent landscaping. Remnants of a north/south aligned limestone wall, possibly part of an earlier churchyard boundary, were recorded, the wall having apparently been slighted and material from it used for landscaping purposes. A possible drainage gully and a possible grave were also recorded.{6}{7}
