A 17th century stone building. No remains of an earlier building visible. Datestone 1863 is later insertion. {1}
A house, now divided into two properties, but originally a 14th century house remodelled in the 17th century and extensively altered in 1863. Unnamed farmstead, Barkston. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {3}
