Full Description

PRN 30467 Early English to Perpendicular. Reused Norman stones in S wall of chancel, which was rebuilt 1873. {1}{2}{3} During a watching brief, a lime mortar floor was recorded, though no dating for this feature was given. No trace of the concrete floor apparently laid in the south part of the nave and chancel in 1927 was found. Several fragments of window glass and some potsherds were also recovered.{4}{5} Stained glass in this church consists of an early 15th century Shield of Beaufort, possibly from St Wulfram's Church, Grantham.{6}
