Full Description

A SMALL MIDDLE BRONZE AGE DIRK (LENGTH 13.5CM). EXAMINATION HAS SHOWN THAT IT HAD THREE RIVET HOLES AND HAS BEEN EXTENSIVELY WHETTED DOWN. IT MAY BELONG TO TRUMP'S CLASS I DAGGER-DIRKS, OR IT MAY BE LATER CLASS WHICH HAS BEEN RE- RIVETED WITH THREE INSTEAD OF TWO RIVETS. {1} BRONZE DAGGER OF LENGTH 5 INCHES FOUND IN A FIELD TO THE E OF THE CAR DYKE AND SOUTH OF THE VILLAGE OF DYKE. {2}
