Full Description

SEVERAL BARROWS WERE DESTROYED WHEN THE RAILWAY WAS BUILT IN 1875. URNS WERE FOUND, BUT THEIR PRESENT WHEREABOUTS IS UNKNOWN. FLINTS WERE FOUND IN 1921 AT TF22938231, COMPRISING OF SCRAPERS, AND A BROKEN BARBED AND TANGED ARROWHEAD. THERE WAS SOME DOUBT IN 1963 AS TO THE AUTHENTICITY OF ANY FINDS BEING ACTUALLY FOUND ON THE SITE.
