Full Description

ANGLO SAXON ROUND BARROW (PROBABLY 7TH CENTURY). REMAINS INCLUDE HUMAN BONES, A BRONZE CAULDRON AND OTHER BRONZE AND IRON OBJECTS DISCOVERED WHEN LAND WAS BEING BROKEN UP IN 1954. SITE IS ON A VALLEY SPUR. NO VISIBLE SURFACE REMAINS OF THE MOUND NOW AND AREA IS PLANTED WITH TREES. FINDS ARE IN LINCOLN MUSEUM. {1}{2}{3}
