A QUANTITY OF ROMNO-BRITISH POTTERY WAS FOUND DURING A WATCHING BRIEF ON THE SUTTON ON SEA TO MABLETHORPE RISING MAIN. THIS MAY INDICATE THE EXISTENCE OF CONTEMPORARY OCCUPATION SITES IN THE VICINITY SEALED BY THE MARINE TRANSGRESSION SILTS LAYER. {1}
