PRN 43173 PROBABLE NEOLITHIC CROPMARK LONG BARROW. {1} THIS LONG BARROW IS SITUATED ON THE UPPER SLOPE, SOUTH FACING, ALIGNED SE-NW, WITH THE LONG AXIS TRAVERSING THE CONTOURS. IT IS A TRAPEZOIDAL ENCLOSURE WITH CONVEX ENDS. THE ENCLOSURE FOLLOWS A PARALLEL ALIGNMENT TO EXTANT BEACON PLANTATION LONG BARROW. FIELDWALKING REVEALED THE COURSE OF THE DITCH AS AN AREA OF MORE LUSH GROWTH IN GERMINATING RAPE CROP. {2}, LENGTH 58M, WIDTH 18M, HTM 56M
