PRN 43612
During a watching brief on a water pipeline a Romano-British site was identified. A Roman ditch aligned east to west was examined and contained charcoal and burnt sandstone as well as pottery. The site is not necessarily an enclosed settlement although there may well be a Roman occupation site nearby. {1} {2}
