Full Description

This long barrow is situtated on level ground, on a gently sloping west escarpment. It is aligned NNW-SSE, and the long axis runs parallel to the contours. It is an enclosure of oblong form, the full extent of which does not show on the east. The form of the terminals is convex. {1}{2} Located half way between Edlinton and Whispington, the cropmark of the neolithic long barrow is visible in aerial photographs of the area. {3}
