Full Description

POSSIBLE UNKNOWN PREHISTORIC CROPMARK BOUNDARY. {1} THIS FEATURE HAS ALSO BEEN INTERPRETED AS A LONG BARROW. IT IS SITUATED ON THE UPPER VALLEY SLOPE OF THE WAITHE BECK, AND IS NORTH WEST FACING. IT IS ALIGNED EAST-WEST, AND THE LONG AXIS TRAVERSES THE CONTOURS. AP EVIDENCE SHOWS THAT IT IS A TRAPEZIFORM ENCLOSURE WITH ANGULAR CORNER(S). THE ONE TERMINAL WHICH IS VISIBLE IS STRAIGHT. IT IS UNCLEAR WHETHER THE FULL EXTENT OF THE ENCLOSURE HAS BEEN CAPTURED ON PHOTOGRAPHS. {2}, LENGTH 92M, WIDTH 30M, HTM 95M
