POSSIBLE NEOLITHIC LONG BARROW/MORTUARY ENCLOSURE RECORDED BY RECONNAISSANCE IN 1995. {1} THIS LONG BARROW IS SITUATED IN A SLOPE POSITION ON A SPUR, TOWARDS THE HEAD OF THE VALLEY OF THE WAITHE BECK. IT IS ALIGNED NNW-SSE, AND ITS LONG AXIS RUNS PARALLEL TO THE CONTOURS. IT IS AN ENCLOSURE OF OBLONG FORM WITH CONVEX ENDS, AND THE SIDE DITCHES SHOW AS A SLIGHTLY WIDER MARK. {2}, LENGTH 44M, WIDTH 16M, HTM 105M
