PRN 53690 St Peter's Church is almost certainly 14th century in date. In 1963, it was in normal use. {1}{2}{3} Stained glass in this church dates to the early 14th century, and may be in situ.{4} The Church of St Peter is a Grade I Listed church, dating from the 12th century with 13th, 14th, 16th and various 19th century alterations and additions, including a restoration of 1875. The church was constructed of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, with limestone ashlar dressings. There are some yellow brick repairs and patching.
