Further Romano-British material, including pottery, coins and bronze items were found in this general area in 1981. {1}{2} Possible Roman villa being deep ploughed. Large amounts of Roman pottery, tesserae, tile including flue tile, stone indicating stone buildings, also quantities of slate have been seen.
