PRN 70183 MEDIEVAL POTTERY WAS RECOVERED FROM THE LOWER LEVELS OF TWO TRIAL PITS DUG DURING A WATCHING BRIEF AT THE HALIFAX BUILDING SOCIETY, CORNHILL. THERE WAS A POSSIBLE WALL FEATURE IN ONE OF THE PITS WHICH MAY BE MEDIEVAL (SEE RECORD 70071). {1}{2} During the watching brief two medieval refuse pits were recorded containing 12th to 13th century pottery. {3}{4}
