A gold bracelet was reported to have been found at the Cumberworth detectorist rally in 1998. The finder and the bracelet disappeared before recording could take place. {1}
It has been tentatively suggested that this might be the late Bronze Age bracelet purchased from a second hand jeweller in Essex who believed it had been found at Great Chesterford, Essex, but with no indication of the circumstances of the find. The late Bronze Age bracelet is undecorated gold, Tisbury type, a 1mm thick palin gold band, 11mm wide tapering to a 9mm wide, coil-ended, outward rolled terminals, weighing 25.73 grams. {2}
