Full Description

A polished glass bead was found during gardening at 'The Meadows' by Miss Diana Flintham in 1948. It is an uncommon type of polished glass bead, with and unusually large central piercing. It is very similar to one found in Cornwall which was dated to 872-875 from associated coins. It is now in CCM. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
