Full Description
PRN 35338
A geophysical survey and trial trenching revealed early to mid Iron Age occupation features, consisting of ditches (thought to be field boundaries or enclosure ditches), pits and post-holes. Domestic debris was concentrated towards the northern end of the site, and the focus of settlement is thought to be to the north/north-east. Evidence for ditch recuts points towards longevity of settlement in the area.{1}{2}{3}
