Full Description
A possible Romano-British occupation deposit was recorded in this area in January 2001, during archaeological monitoring of the rebuilding of an overhead electricity line. A small Roman coin, thought to be of Constantine 1, was recovered from this deposit. A single redeposited and very abraded sherd of Roman greyware pottery was also found in the vicinity. {1}{2}
