Full Description
A dupondius of Antonia (42-54AD) was found on the river bank at Scotwater Bridge. It was stamped on the obverse with a laurel head of 'ANTONIA AUGUSTA', and on the reverse with a picture of Claudius standing 'TI CLAUDIUS CAES ARAUG PM TR P IMP'. BMC No. 166 or 213. {1}
