PRN 13806
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during groundworks at Main Road, Wigtoft. The watching brief identified a ditch and rubbish pit containing 12th to 13th century AD pottery. The pit suggests refuse disposal and indicates settlement in the vicinity. The ditch may have served as a boundary or to aid drainage of the land {1} {2}
