Full Description
PRN 70397
A watching brief was undertaken on land off Queen Street, Lincoln prior to development. A possible ground surface was uncovered with a demolition layer above which contained tile dating to mid 14th to 15th century and dressed stone. Together with the medieval pottery sherd and further tile found in the layers above, it is believed that a structure stood here in the 11th to 14th centuries. {1} {2}
