Full Description
Part of a human skull of unknown date was found during garden digging at a house on the edge of Caistor. The skull was buried about 1.5m down. Another skull was also reportedly found during the building of an extension at an adjacent property to the north. An Anglo-Saxon inhumation has been identified 100m away (see PRN 50587) but there is nothing as yet to link this discovery to that site. {1}
