PRN 70496
Trial trenching at Brayford Wharf North revealed medieval deposits dated to the 13th century and later. These include a stone wall in the northern part of the site which may have been part of a building. There appears to have been a hiatus of occupation during the 12th century, which is associated with a sandier horizon which may represent flood deposits. {1}{2}
