Full Description
PRN 70497
Trial trenching at Brayford Wharf North revealed relatively few post medieval remains. There appears to have been another episode of land reclamation, represented by a layer of dumped soil possibly dating to the 15th to 17th centuries. A pit also dates to this period, though there does not appear to have been much activity on the site at this time. The upper layers of the site were interpreted as 18th-19th century garden soils. {1}{2}
