Full Description

PRN 64208 A 16th century house, altered in the 17th century, in 1700 and extensively in the 20th century. Constructed in coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings. The house has a pantiled roof with a single triple-funnelled square ashlar axial ridge stack with moulded cornice. Two storey high with an irregular five bay front. The frontage has a central 20th century door above which is an ashlar lozenge datestone inscribed JWE 1700. Regular courtyard with L-plan range plus detached buildings to the fourth side of the yard. The farmhouse is attached to a range of working buildings.
