Full Description

PRN 70516 The remains of a cellar belonging to a building which is first shown on an 1851 map were found during a trial excavation. A wall and its associated surface were found beneath the cellar. These are thought to relate to the housing expansion of 1740-1840 when modest cottages were built in many parts of the city. Pottery, bricks and tile dating from the 18th to early 20th century was also found. {1}{2}
