Full Description

PRN 64584 An L-shaped range of traditional 19th century red brick farmbuildings including stables, barn, cart shed and first-floor granary all with pantile roofs. The oldest buildings are in the north range and are probably early 19th century, with the east and south ranges added in the mid-19th century or later (the south range has been demolished). For a detailed description, see the building survey report. {1}{2} Walnut Farm, Brant Broughton and Stragglethorpe. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of U plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {3}
