PRN 24071
During a watching brief Romano-British features dating mainly to the 2nd-3rd century were encountered. The features included ditches, pits, dumped deposits and a subsoil. No structural remains were encountered although a single piece of roof tile was recovered which suggests the presence of a building nearby. Pottery was recovered from most features and 2 rotary querns and a small quantity of animal bone were also found. {1}{2}
