Full Description

PRN 65225 The remains of at least two stone buildings were partially excavated in 1990. The remains had been heavily robbed and also suffered plough damage. The remains represented at least two phases of building and the purpose of the buildings remains unclear. However, it is suggested that they are associated with a farmstead or similar settlement. Pottery from the site suggests a later Roman date, possibly 3rd century. {1}
