A well preserved Second World War Anderson type air raid shelter with original metal doors and fixings and blast wall in situ. This example is well preserved and has not been seriously altered, and is of considerable local significance as an intact example of the sort of shelters installed in vast numbers throughout the United Kingdom during the 1939-45 conflict. {1}
