Full Description

Photographic building recording of a former shop which was converted into two residential flats in 2005. A date stone located on the south elevation of the building reads "JP 1873". The building underwent major alterations before 2005 but remained in use as a shop. The building retains decorative dentilated eaves and a similarly decorated gable end. {1} These are buildings identified as of historical interest by the South Holland District Council Local List. Although these buildings have limited architectual and historic value, they do, with other buildings in the vicinity, enhance the character of the area in which they stand. {2}
