Full Description
A Romano-British ditch, aligned in a north-east to south-west direction, was revealed during a watching brief. The ditch may correspond to an infilled creek identified from LiDAR. A fragment of Romano-British greyware pottery, dating to the 2nd or 3rd century, a fragment of briquetage, possibly associated with the nearby salterns, fired clay and animal bone were also recovered. {1}{2}
