Full Description
A farmhouse dating from the 17th century which underwent alterations in the 18th and 20th centuries. It was originally mud and stud which is now painted brick and has a half hipped pantile roof with a single ridge and wall brick stacks. Village Farm, Thimbleby. Partially extant 17th century farmstead. Loose courtyard with three sides of the courtyard formed by working agricultural buildings. The farmhouse is detached with the long axis facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Located within or in association with a village. {2}
