Full Description
Excavation of three evaluation trenches at 74 Newport, in March 2008, revealed post Roman to early medieval features. Trench two, in the east of the evaluation area, revealed two pits which cut into the Romano-British deposits (PRN 71038) but existed below the medieval or later deposits. {1}{2}
