- MILL (Medieval to Post Medieval - 1066 AD? to 1900 AD?)

Full Description
The site of Cabourne Mill is marked on Bryant's 1828 map of Lincolnshire. The mill's dates of construction and demolition are not known. A map in the Lincolnshire Archives (LAO YARB/4/5/1), putatively of 1811 but more plausibly of mid 19th century date, denotes the fields 'Mill Platt' and 'Mill Slack' in the immediate vicinity, although the position of the mill itself is not marked, suggesting that the mill had been demolished after 1828. {1}
