Full Description

A Thames barge named the 'Satis' was abandoned at this location in the 1930s. It had a large flat bottom and sails and carried cargo on the East coast to the Humber and as far south as the English Channel. There was little remaining of the vessel by the 1950s, and it has now completely rotted away. {1}
